Counselling

At times, life can be difficult and we can feel lost, helpless or distressed. I became aware of counselling due to my own life experiences and I bring a range of different talking and technique driven therapies to my practise aimed at finding the right solution for the individual after all we are all unique and there is not a “one size fits all” answer.
Counselling or talking therapy as it’s known in the NHS, offers a safe and confidential place where you can explore issues and feelings, developing a greater understanding of them, without feeling any pressure or judgement.
It can help you to make changes that will ease and facilitate a solution to your difficulties. Counselling can help you to move forward and enhance your life experience.

Counselling should provide you with a confidential opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in safety and assist your learning, healing, understanding and growth free of being judged.

The real aim of all talking therapies is to help with change and assist people in finding meaningful alternatives to their present unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feeling or behaving. Therapy also tends to help clients become more accepting, both of themselves and others, and can be most useful in promoting personal development and unlocking inner potential.
As an ‘Integrative Therapist’, I work with many models, techniques and interventions such as NLP, EFT, and Havening it’s all about finding the right way forward for the individual in need.

The practice offers a free initial consultation to discuss your problems and treatment plan.
